While he is not shy when it comes to helping others including his neighbors and classmates, the Comal ISD KENS 5 All-Star Student would prefer to not be in the limelight.

For the past seven years, elementary students from across the district have been vying for the coveted title Comal Shake Champion. This year's winner is no exception.

Thanks to project savings during the construction of Davenport High School, Comal ISD’s newest school that opened last fall, additional facilities have been added to the campus years ahead of schedule.

Pieper High School is excited to welcome it first athletic coordinator and head football coach to its faculty as it prepares to open in the fall.

UPDATED Feb. 1, 2021 - It's official. The Pieper High School boundaries will follow the same attendance boundaries as Pieper Ranch Middle School, and a grandfather transfer form will be available during a one-week period starting Monday, Feb. 1.

Hours of practice have paid off for two student musicians in the district. A percussionist with the Canyon Cougar Band and a clarinetist with the Canyon Lake Hawk Band earned the All-State Musician title recently.

One Smithson Valley High School student's artwork placed in the top 17 among 300 entries in this year's San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Western Art Contest, earning the sophomore a $4,000 scholarship.

The 2019-2020 Federal Report Cards for the state, the district and each Comal ISD campus are now available. Due to COVID-19, some reporting requirements have been waived by the U.S. Department of Education.

Dreams do come true. Just ask the Smithson Valley High School graduate who made headlines and history recently. Through dedication, a consistent work ethic and determination, Trevon Moehrig continues to reach for the stars.

Before the winter break, students and staff organized a wide-variety of toy, clothing and food drives to give back to their communities. Many of these have become traditions that students look forward to participating in year after year.
